Title I: Improve the Academic Achievement of Disadvantaged Students

This program provides financial assistance through State Educational Agencies (SEAs) to Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) and public schools with high numbers or percentages of disadvantaged children to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic content and student academic achievement standards. http://www.mde.k12.ms.us/OFP/basic

Title II: Supporting Effective Instruction

This program provides financial assistance to recruit, hire and retain highly qualified teachers and principals; to provide research-based, high-quality professional development activities; and to provide a reduction in classroom size as applicable to improving teaching and learning. http://www.mde.k12.ms.us/OFP/title-ii

Title V: Rural Education Achievement Program

This program provides financial assistance for teacher professional development, educational technology and software to improve teaching and learning, parental involvement activities, and improving basic programs designed under Title I. http://www.mde.k12.ms.us/OFP/title-v 

Title IV, Part A- Student Support & Academic Enrichment Grants

This program provides all students with access to a well-rounded education. This includes 20% for well-rounded education, 20% for safe and healthy students, 60% for technology and other areas.
