Office of Child Nutrition

The CMSD Food Services department is committed to health and wellness by preparing all students to be healthy, fit, and ready to succeed! The Child Nutrition Department is a Federal Program administered by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Mississippi Department of Education, and the local School Board. Strict regulations are placed on the department in all areas, but particularly the nutritional content of all foods available to students on each school campus. The goal of our department is to ensure your students receive the best nutritional experience possible so that they can be healthy, fit, and ready to succeed.

Mission Statement: The Child Nutrition Department for Clarksdale Municipal school District will strive to be professional and courteous to all students, faculty, administration, community visitors and each other at all times. We will serve our meals in a clean, friendly and safe environment.
